Julia

Tomorrow Julia has a 90-second timed speech, so she spoke very fast today, which made some words hard to hear. Thank you so much for Otto's advice — it was excellent! I'll remind her of it again before her competition tomorrow and have her practice it. If possible, it would be wonderful if you could teach Julia two minutes of everyday Spanish conversation each class as an introduction! Thank you, Otto, for the patient explanations and extensions today. I'll share the good news from the city-wide speech contest with you. Thank you, teacher!

Thank you, Otto, for the wonderful extensions every time. Seeing the photos you thoughtfully shared of little Julia at 4.5 when she first started classes with you, plus a photo of a super-young Otto (still very young now!), made me marvel at how fast time flies — she's already seven and a half, almost three years. You truly are the one foreign teacher she has never changed in these three years. Could BetaKid send them to my email? They're so precious! Thank you again, Otto!

Insects is an interesting topic. We look forward to your continued sharing of interesting facts about insects in the upcoming classes, which will help us understand them better.

Sky

This is an excellent teacher! First, the teaching is patient yet humorous, with lots of expressive gestures and simulated lesson materials. The teacher proactively extends beyond the textbook and gives English definitions for the key phrases — long-term training like this will help a lot with IELTS, which involves many synonym substitutions. The class content is full and rich; overall we are very satisfied. Thank you for continuing to teach even after the earthquake in your area — thank you for your dedication. Two small suggestions: since we've only just started, we hope you can speak a little slower, as my child sometimes can't quite follow; and please encourage my child to speak up in complete, grammatically correct sentences. Thank you, teacher, see you next time.

Kion

The teacher is very nice, conscientious and patient. My child loves you and says they want to book more classes with you 😊

The classroom connection was a bit unstable today. Otto, thank you for still teaching Julia despite the aftershocks in the Philippines — I also showed her videos about earthquakes in your region. Hello Teacher! This lesson introduced things like pools and water games — some of the water games were new to us. Thank you for explaining the different kinds of transport and when to use 'on' or 'in'. Your cloud look at the end was so fun — it's the image Eva couldn't stop thinking about after last class, and to her delight it appeared again this time. Looking forward to the next class!

Julia

Julia admires you more and more — you speak Spanish, Mandarin, English and spoken English, plus Jamaican English and German! We hope you'll open up an even bigger world for her, and be a bit stricter with her. She starts first grade this September, so we'd like you to give her some writing homework and speaking-output homework each class, as appropriate.

Jerry
